Real Geeks Pricing, Features, & Comparisons In 2022

Real Geeks Pricing, Features, & Comparisons In 2023

How do other real estate agents get all their leads? Real estate is a competitive market — and it’s only getting more competitive. But having the right marketing tools can help.

Real Geeks helps you manage your contacts, generate leads, build your online presence, and even start your online marketing campaigns. Even better, it’s under $300 a month.

Does it sound too good to be true?

For the most part, Real Geeks actually does deliver on its impressive claims — with a caveat. Real Geeks is, of course, no substitute for paying for an actual marketing strategy… but it’s an excellent turn-key service for a brand-new agent looking to save on cash.

Let’s explore Real Geeks, its services, its pricing model, and whether it’s right for you.

Real Geeks Review in Brief

  • Real Geeks provides turn-key online marketing services for real estate professionals.
  • While Real Geeks may not generate an extraordinary number of leads, it’s extremely affordable.
  • Real Geeks is best for real estate professionals who are just starting out or just ramping up.

What Are the Real Geeks?

Real Geeks is a company that provides cheap lead generation and real estate marketing services to real estate professionals. Since 2007, Real Geeks has been expanding its services to encompass IDX websites, property valuation tools, and client mobile apps.

Here’s the idea: Real Geeks provides you with everything that you need to move your marketing online. Cheap. If you’re already a marketing or tech guru, you don’t need this. But if you’re a new agent, it could be essential.

What Services Does Real Geeks Offer?

The Real Geeks offer a variety of services designed to help real estate professionals generate and convert leads. It’s certainly not everything that a real estate professional needs to become an overnight success, but it’s a great start for someone building their career.

Customer Relationship Management

Real Geeks provides a complete customer relationship management (CRM) suite. Track your leads, contacts, and clients in one place—and never miss a lead again.

Real Geeks designed its Real Geeks CRM for the real estate industry. Unlike many other CRM suites, it provides only the features you need; other CRM solutions may be unnecessarily complex, especially for a solo agent.

IDX Website

An IDX website is a critical tool for real estate professionals. It allows you to showcase your listings online and generate leads from potential buyers who are looking for properties in your area.

The Real Geeks’ IDX website solution is an all-in-one platform that gives you everything you need to create a beautiful, functional, and (maybe most critically) SEO-optimized website.

Property Valuation Tool

The Real Geeks Property Valuation Tool helps you determine how much a property is worth. Enter an address and the tool will provide you with an estimated market value for a home. The Real Geeks Property Valuation Tool is great for both real estate agents and real estate investors.

Client Mobile App

Impress your clients with your own mobile app. Real Geeks gives you a mobile connection to your leads. Push properties directly to their phone and deliver real-time property updates to increase your client engagement.

Online Marketing Management

The “Real Leads” service provides Facebook, Google, and PPC marketing support. Online marketing can get costly, quick-but it can also be extremely effective. If you don’t want to just throw money at a campaign, Real Leads can help you optimize your strategies.

If you want, Real Geeks can handle pretty much everything about your web presence, from your Real Geeks website to your mobile app.

Real Geeks Pricing: How Much Does It Cost?

Real Geeks is an “all-in-one” service priced at $299 a month. This price has gone up; it was previously $259. The all-in-one service includes most of the tools that Real Geeks provides, but not all of them. For instance, online marketing support is quoted individually.

Compared to other lead generation solutions, Real Geeks is extremely affordable. For $299, you get an out-of-the-box, turn-key marketing solution.

Customer Service and Reviews for Real Geeks

There’s a reason why I’m pretty optimistic about Real Geeks: It has pretty great reviews. About universally, it’s rated at 4+ out of 5. It’s not a market leader, but that’s not what it’s there for; it’s a low-cost service targeted toward newcomers.

Real Geeks will get you a real estate website, kickstart your real estate marketing, and ultimately augment your real estate business. By all accounts, they have great customer service and provide excellent support for the tools they do provide.

If you need to custom design a lead generation website or launch an all-out Google marketing campaign, of course, the Real Geeks platform isn’t right for you. But if you are an individual agent or small real estate team that wants to dabble a little in Google Ads, it’s a great service.

Most Popular Alternatives to Real Geeks

Real Geeks provides a pretty broad array of products: CRM, lead generation, and online marketing. But there are still a few popular alternatives.

Real Estate CRM: Top Producer vs. Real Geeks

Top Producer is one of the most popular CRM suites for real estate professionals. It’s known for its ease of use and comprehensive set of features.

Like Real Geeks, Top Producer provides a turn-key solution. You just need to input your contact information and listings to get started. Once you’re up and running, you can use the suite’s many features to organize and automate your lead generation and follow-up processes.

Turn-Key Marketing: BoomTown vs. Real Geeks

BoomTown is a lead generation platform for real estate professionals that includes customizable search filters. It’s very similar to Real Geeks, insofar as it also provides an IDX website and other web presence features. However, it’s also up to 4 times more expensive than Real Geeks. You get value for your money… but you’d better be making money first.

Lead Generation: Zillow Premier Agent vs. Real Geeks

Zillow Premiere Agent has a tremendous reputation at this point, but it’s not the best lead source. You do have to pay for the leads that you get—and pretty much everyone has signed up for it. If you’re in a competitive space, it’s possible that your zipcodes are already saturated. That being said, because so many people do go through Zillow, it’s worth it to get your contact info up there.

Online Marketing: Real Geeks vs. Placester

Placester primarily creates customizable IDX-powered websites, but it also has a complete suite of integrated marketing tools. It’s a great tool for those who want to both create an IDX website and make sure that it ranks high in SEO and social media.

So, there are actually quite a few alternatives out there for a real estate agent, including Easy Agent Pro and Commissions Inc. You can even rely on the Facebook marketing tool and Google Analytics—if you want to dig deep.

My Final Thoughts on Real Geeks

Overall, I think Real Geeks is a great lead generation solution for new real estate professionals. It’s affordable and it provides you with everything you need to get started with online marketing.

That being said, if you really want to ramp up your online marketing campaigns, you will eventually hit a wall. Generating a great online marketing campaign takes work. A good online strategy will have to be customized to your business and your market.

My verdict? If Real Geeks appeals to you, consider using it to launch (or scale) your real estate career. You may eventually find that you’re better off managing your web presence and online marketing on your own… but you could also find that you never want to manage that side of your business.

Not everyone has to be an online marketer, but everyone does need online marketing.

What are your current marketing strategies? Do you think Real Geeks could work for you?

Try Out Real Geeks Today

Don’t take my word for it. Try out Real Geeks today. There’s a no-obligation demo. Not everything works for everyone — especially in something as individual as real estate. But you owe it to yourself to at least give it a try.
